How to reach us

Send the form at the bottom of this page, or on any other page of the site; all forms reach the same place. The main part asks for five things: what kind of trip, your name, your email, when you plan to travel and how many are travelling. An optional section lets you add the length of the trip, the communities or festivals that interest you, your budget and any notes.

We reply by email to the address you give. If you have not heard from us, check your spam or promotions folder; replies to a new address sometimes land there. There is no phone line or office to visit at present.

What makes the first reply useful

  • Dates or a month, and whether they can move. Festival journeys depend on the lunar calendar, so say if you want the Bà Chúa Xứ festival or Ok Om Bok.
  • Who is travelling: adults, children and their ages, anyone who needs a separate room.
  • Where you start and end. Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Phnom Penh or Phu Quoc each give the route a different shape.
  • Which communities or places matter most. Khmer pagodas, the Cham villages, Sam Mountain, Oc Eo, Ha Tien.
  • Hotel level: simple, comfortable, or the Victoria hotels where they exist.
  • Anything that would spoil the trip: mobility limits, dietary needs, a dislike of small boats or early starts.

If you have none of this yet, send what you have. A month and a number of travellers is enough to begin.

Examples of good first messages

  • “Two of us, late January, about a week. We are interested in the Khmer pagodas and the Cham villages, and we would like to continue to Phnom Penh. Comfortable hotels where possible.”
  • “Family of four, children 12 and 15, early April, five or six days in the delta as part of a longer trip in Vietnam. We like history; the children are fine with early starts if the afternoons are free.”
  • “I would like to see the Bà Chúa Xứ festival at Sam Mountain next year. Travelling alone, flexible on hotels, happy to fly out from Phu Quoc afterwards.”

What happens next

  1. We read your message and check the hotels, boats and festival dates your trip depends on.
  2. If something is unclear, we reply with questions first.
  3. We send a draft route: each night’s base and hotel, each day’s drive, and the heritage table for the route.
  4. We price it per trip, line by line. You change what you want; each version is priced again.
  5. When you accept, we confirm with the hotels and boat operators and send you written confirmation.

The how to book page covers confirmation and payment, and the pricing page explains how a quote is built.

Before you write: questions we are often asked

  • Can you do a day trip? No — our shortest journey is five days.
  • Can you arrange visas? No. Vietnam e-visas are applied for by the traveller on the official portal; we explain what you need for Cambodia if the route ends in Phnom Penh.
  • Can you include a river cruise or a homestay? Not as the focus of the trip; we plan around hotels.
  • Can you join our trip to one already booked elsewhere? Yes. Tell us where you arrive from and where you go next.

Payment safety and your data

Do not send card details by email. How to pay, and how to check that a payment request really comes from us, is set out on your written quotation. What the form collects and how it is used is described in the privacy policy.

Before you pay

If a message asks you to pay into an account that is not shown on your written quotation, do not pay. Send the form and ask us.
